A few years ago we planted a row of trees (Swedish Whitebeam sorbus intermedia) which runs from the Icarus Memorial to the Watch Office, these have now all been adopted in memory of serving personnel at Wickenby during the RAF years.
We currently don’t have any trees left for adoption and have no space to plant more, we are however looking into other ways of commemoration and will post here when we have come up with a solution.
